On the second Doorway to Your Future event, during the preview of Earthrise 23 – Design for a Living Planet, the festival of the Circolo del Design which FerreroLegno is official sponsor, Sara Berts performed a live performance Constituent Fragments of the Unfathomable Cosmos. A creative process resulting from a continuous conversation with natural ecosystems. In the live performance, soft melodies emerge from a continuum generated by field recordings, intertwined with voice and effects, creating a meeting ground between two dimensions of reality, the visible world and its allusive vitality to another order.

Composer and sound artist based in Turin. She has been studying traditional Asháninka medicine in Mayantuyacu since 2017. Her work embraces the sphere of the non-human to reflect on the relationship between sound and healing, layering synth voices with elaborate field recordings.
